--LF Nyjer Morgan continued his hot start. Morgan, who was so shaky in spring training he appeared to be in danger of losing his lineup spot, had two more hits, including a double, to raise his average to .423.
--RHP Ian Snell was better than in his first start but still wasn't good enough and dropped to 0-2. He gave up two runs on five hits in six innings but took the loss.
